RDA's commitment to excellence is driven by the Owner, Primary Teacher and Artistic Director, Michelle Madore. Michelle is the 2002 World Champion in Professional Exhibition Ballroom Dance, winning the title at the Dutch Open in Assen, Holland.

She was also a Blackpool Dance Festival Finalist and a finalist for 2 years in the United States DanceSport Championships Theater Arts Division, where American Smooth Technique and Adagio lift-work are combined. In 2003, Michelle won the Challenge of the Continent, beating out the top couples from every division of ballroom dance including International Latin and Standard and American Rhythm and Smooth! While a professional, Michelle trained with the top ballroom coaches in the world including Rufus Dustin, Pierre Dulaine, Michael Chapman, Jean Marc Genereaux, Marianne Nicole, Bill Davies, Frank Regan and Eddie Simon.
Michelle has danced since childhood, her first love being ballet as she trained in the Royal Academy of Dance Style. She danced professionally with the Mohawk Valley Performing Arts while still in High School. Michelle went on to dance with the Hartford Ballet and completed their Teacher Training Certification Program. She is the 1997 New York Dance Olympics' Best Choreography Winner and has received grant awards to produce her choreography. In 2008, Michelle received her Licentiate Degree from The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Inc. She now enjoys sharing her expertise with the Dance Community Worldwide, choreographing and coaching for professional and amateur DanceSport athletes, and judging DanceSport competitions. She holds a BS in Dance Kinesiology and an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. Her students have gone on to win National Championships, join Professional Dance companies, and make top 20 of SYTYCD.
